This is another frock stitched over the weekend. I saw a similar pattern in the web. This is a single piece frock and when she wears it looks more like mini chudithar. 🙂
P.S: My bow is not neat as I din’t know how to do that while sewing. But now I found a wonderful tutorial here.
I stitched this very simple frock. I used an old frock as reference and stitched it.
It looked very plain after I finished stitching. So I made a satin ribbon gathered flower and stitched on the front. I used some satin ribbon as a waist band and left the extra to tie on the back.
It is not a neat sewing, but I learnt that we need to do overlock for children clothes or do a fold stitching for everything before joining pieces.
Anyways, it was easy to sew and gave me more courage to attempt on frocks.
Heart and Round
I got the idea from Springtime in my Heart in Ravelry but used the heart motif from talking crochet and Round I did on my own with similar centre.
Heart & Round
It is very cute looking and I gave it as a gift to my friend. It is quick to do and well appreciated.

Here is my hexagon bag.
I had this yarn for long time, after I made this baby blanket, I still had more of them and decided I will so something to finish it off. And was first planning for scarf ( Actually a knit scarf ) but then I realized I am anticipating too much. I have just knit a small sampler and have a looooong way to go before I can knit a scarf.
Then Kind of box like tissue box cover or something. Then I dumped all my ideas and decided to make a bag when I came across this link
I started making the hexagons and tried to join them with the Join as you go method. It is really useful but I found after few pieces it became too heavy and I was worried it will bend my hook. So I made the rest of the hexagons and joined them with needle and thread.
The handles are pending. I am looking for Round/Oval cane/plastic ready-made handles.
I have already lined it with white and pink printed fabric with 3 small pouches and Zipper closure. But I think it requires some re-work.
Hexagon bag- Insides
Have a look at my hexagon bag and let me know your comments.
